Press Release: "Dean of FEB UPNVY Welcomes Visit from Students of SMK Negeri 1 Kalitengah Lamongan"

Sleman, February 10, 2025 – On Monday, Dr. Januar Eko Prasetio, SE, M.Si, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta (FEB UPNVYK), welcomed an industrial visit from SMK Negeri 1 Kalitengah Lamongan. This visit aimed to inspire and foster high motivation and perseverance in learning. The event was attended by 52 students from the Banking Services Expertise Concentration and five accompanying teachers.

In line with the school's expectations, FEB UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta assigned Dr. C. Ambar Pujiharjanto, M.E., to deliver a lecture titled "Financial Planning." In this session, he explained the importance of personal financial management from an early age, strategies for saving and investing, and how to create an effective financial plan for the future.

The next session was presented by Ms. Rini Dwi Astuti, S.E., M.Si., with the topic "Banking Services: Challenges in the Digital Era." She discussed how technological advancements have transformed the banking industry landscape, covering aspects such as digital banking services, online transaction security, and the challenges faced by banks in navigating digital disruption.

The participants responded very positively, actively asking questions and engaging in discussions during the Q&A session. The students’ high enthusiasm reflected their strong interest in finance and banking, particularly in understanding the importance of financial planning for their future.

Through this visit, it is hoped that the students of SMK Negeri 1 Kalitengah Lamongan can apply the knowledge gained in their daily lives and better prepare themselves to face the increasingly competitive job market in the digital era.
